Travel Team Program
Welcome to the FFA NYC Travel Team Program
Our Travel Team Program is for dedicated young athletes ready to take their soccer skills to the next level. Designed for players ages 7 to 11, this program offers advanced training and competitive matches across New York City.
We have four teams, each with 10-12 players, competing against top teams from all five boroughs. Players will refine their technical and tactical abilities while building teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence. This is our most competitive program, ideal for passionate players committed to excellence.
Our Current teams
We currently offer four competitive teams based on birth year:
U8 (kids born August 1, 2018- July 31st, 2019): We focus on player development, fun, and foundational skills more than wins or loses. At this stage, it is critical that our coaches help players fall in love with the game. Our primary focus is to create a fun, positive, and engaging environment where every child feels successful and exited to return to the field.
U9 (Kids born August 1,2017- July 31st, 2018): As players move into the U9 age group, they begin transitioning from simply enjoying the game to developing stronger technical skills and basic understanding of team play. While fun and enjoyment remain the priority, our coaches will start expecting more focus, and more soccer awareness.
U10 (kids born August 1, 2016- July 31, 2017): As players move into U10, our focus shifts from simply learning soccer skills to learning how to apply those skills within the game. This is a crucial stage where players begin connecting technical ability with tactical awareness. The goal is to develop intelligent, confident players who can make decision, solve problems, and continue building a lifelong love for soccer.
U11 (kids born August 1, 2015- July 31, 2016): As our players reach the next level of competence. They will begin entering a stage where technical proficiency, tactical awareness, and game intelligence becomes increasingly important. While we continue our development, players will start demonstrating a deeper understanding of how their individual skills will impact the team.
